Photos from my Photography for Parents workshop

Photography workshops

Yesterday I ran one of my Photography for Parents – the next stage workshops in Hindhead, Surrey. This workshop is for parents who have already attended my beginners workshop and are keen to learn more. I spend time giving feed back on photos they have taken since the previous workshop and sharing lots of advanced photography tips and inspiration for taking great photos of their families. Then we go outside and they practise some of the tips learnt whilst photographing each other.

We were lucky as the sun came out just as we went outside so they were able to practise some backlighting in the garden.

Here are a few photos from our morning together. I actually appear in some of these too as I had the lovely Vanessa assisting me for the morning so she took some photos of us in action – thanks Vanessa! See if you can spot our new puppy Betsy making an appearance in one of the photos!

The photos you can see stuck on the walls are taken by the parents since they attended the beginners workshop, aren’t they great?

Here are a few of the comments from the feedback forms:

“A really helpful refresher on the tips we covered last time, as well as lots of new ideas and inspiration to experiment with. Thank you!” Liz V

“Fabulous workshop which was a great follow on from the first one.” Donna S

“Another fantastic course, lots of tips and inspiration. Vicki is very helpful and approachable, no question is a silly one. I would definitely recommend the course.” Gemma D

If you have attended my beginners workshop and are keen to learn more, I will be holding another ‘next stage’ workshop later in the year (the next one in February is fully booked). Please contact me to let me know you’re interested and I’ll email you as soon as I confirm details. Thank you!
