Photos from Saturday’s photography workshop for parents

On Saturday morning, I held my 3rd photography for parents workshop at MakeMe Workshops gorgeous studio at The Medicine Garden in Cobham (I don’t know how many I have to do before I stop telling you the number of it!)

The rain threatened, but luckily for us the sun was out for the shooting part of the workshop. And the Alium’s in the beautiful garden made wonderful subjects for the group to practice the new techniques they had learnt.

It was a fantastic group and we had a lot of fun. There seems to be a theme occuring with each of my workshops so far, we’ve had just one guy in each one! It’s all ladies at the moment for the July workshop, so come on men, I need one of you to book on to keep the theme going!

Here are some of the comments from the feedback forms:

“…covered everything you need to take better photos of your children. Can’t wait to put what I’ve learnt into practice!”
“…very, very well organised”
“…thoroughly enjoyed the workshop.”
“…really fantastic morning, can’t wait to start taking lots of photos!”
“…perfect level of technical vs practical information.”
“…so much information but pitched at exactly the right level for the amateur photographer. I’ll definitely be recommending it to my friends.”

I have just 3 spaces left on the Saturday, 9th July workshop and I have just announced the Autumn ‘Photography for Parents’ workshop which is Saturday, 8th October. You can book your place through MakeMe Workshops website here

I was delighted that all of the places for my new ‘photography for creative business owners’ workshop in September were snapped up within 24 hours of us announcing it. At the risk of sounding like I think I’m a pop star (er, have you heard me sing?!), we’re announcing another date due to the popularity of this workshop. The new date is Friday, 30th September from 9.30am-1.30pm. Again, you can book here through MakeMe workshops website. Places are limited to 8 so please make sure you book early. And you still get an early bird discount of £15 if you book before 31st May. Just enter ‘Early Bird’ at the checkout.
